About hedging and shrub pruning
When should hedges be cut?
Fast growers like murraya and lilly pilly need a trim every 6 to 8 weeks through the warm months and less over winter. It varies by plant, which is what we take care of.
Can you fix a hedge that has gone bare at the bottom?
Often, yes, with a staged renovation prune over a season or two. We will tell you honestly if it is better replaced.
